Police appeal following burglary at a Creswell social club

Police in Creswell are appealing for information following a burglary in the area.

At around midnight on Monday, June 15, four men attempted to gain entry to an outbuilding of the Old Comrades Social Club on Dover Street in Creswell.

The offenders forced open the door of an outbuilding before being disturbed by alarm. Nothing was stolen as the would-be thieves fled the scene.

It is believed that they drove off in the direction of Welbeck Street.

One of the offenders is described as wearing a grey coloured tracksuit with the hood up and trainers, while the other three men wore dark clothing.

Anyone with any information about the incident, who or may have seen any suspicious activity in the area, is asked to contact PC Christopher Knights on 101, quoting crime number 25036/15.
