MacMillan Cancer Support coffee morning- Sept 17

The Dronfield Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team is set to take part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and local residents are invited to call in for a cuppa.

Officers will be putting their baking skills to the test as part of the event to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, and giving people the chance to meet the team.

The event will take place on Friday, September 29, between 9.30am and 11.30am at the police office on Lea Road, Dronfield.

PC Sally Horner, of the Dronfield Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Please come along and meet your local Safer Neighbourhood policing team. We have some new faces and some more familiar ones, and will all be putting our baking skills to the test for you.

“It’s a good opportunity to drop in for a chat about any issues or concerns, or simply to lend your support and donate to the very worthy Macmillan cancer charity. And if you want to bring a bake of your own, we certainly won’t turn them away!”
