'Street Meet' set for residents in Shirland

Posted on 12th April 2017

People living in the Shirland area are invited to meet with their local PCSO at an upcoming ‘Street Meet’ in the village.

PCSO Kate Hodnett of the North Wingfield, Pilsley, Stonebroom and Shirland Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team will be hosting the event between 11am and 1pm on Monday, April 24 at Shirland Village Hall.

It is to give local residents the chance to drop in and speak about any concerns or issues in their local area, pick up advice around crime prevention or to just simply meet their local officer.

If you can’t make the ‘Street Meet’ but would like to contact your local Safer Neighbourhood policing team call 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.

You can also send PCSO Hodnett a message online using the ‘Contact Us’ page on the website: www.derbyshire.police.uk or why not follow the work of the team on Twitter: @SouthEasternSNT.
