Appeal for help from public as two off-road motorbikes are stolen from Alvaston

Posted on 4th April 2017

Our officers from the Alvaston Safer Neighbourhood Team are appealing for help after two off-road motorbikes were stolen from Alvaston.

The theft happened between 12 midday on Sunday, March 26 and 8am on Monday, March 27, when an out-building was broken into at a house on Excelsior Avenue.

Thieves then removed two Suzuki RMZ 450 off-road motorbikes despite one not having an engine and leaving the wheels of the other one behind. Neither bike is registered for use on the road.

We have released images of the distinctive looking bikes in the hope that they may jog someone’s memory in to seeing something suspicious as it is thought that they may have been loaded in to a van.

If you think you can help, please the team on 101 quoting reference number 170000128961.
