Our officers from the Alvaston and Boulton Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNT) are inviting residents from the Derby suburbs to join them at one of a series of ‘Street-Meets’ this week.

The teams are holding three events across the patch this week, in public locations, to give residents the opportunity to meet officers and raise any policing issues they have.

Sergeant Graham Young, who is in charge of the teams, explained: “The officers from the teams are out and about in the communities at all hours of the day on patrol and of course meet and speak to members of the public.

“What we do realise however, is that not everyone will see them and so these events give residents the opportunity to come and meet the team at a set time and place.”

The teams will be at the following locations:

Alvaston SNT will be at Dunelm Café, Ascot Drive, Derby, between 10am and 12 midday on Tuesday, February 7

Boulton SNT will be at Co-op store, Holbrook Road, Derby, between 10am and 12 midday on Tuesday, February 7

Alvaston SNT will be at Co-op store, London Road, Derby, between 10am and 12 midday on Wednesday, February 8.

For more information contact the teams on 101 or send them a message online by visiting the Contact Us section of our website here.
