Safer Neighbourhood Team Sergeants

  • Sergeant 3364 Aaron Shaw

I have been part of Derbyshire police since 2005 when I joined as a volunteer Special Constable and since that time have held various roles in the constabulary.

I have a background in Safer Neighbourhood policing having worked as a Police Community Support Officer and a Police Constable in teams in other areas of the county before my promotion to Sergeant.

Living in Derby I am determined to ensure that it remains one of the safest places in the country to live.

I am an extremely proactive officer and ask the same of my team. I am keen to build good synergy with our partner agencies to deal
with the root cause of issues that harm our community.

I am committed to tackling issues at the earliest opportunity and want to work with the community as it is only with their support that we can keep crime low. I ask the community to make us aware of your concerns to focus on what matters most.

I will assure the residents of Alvaston and Boulton areas that my team are determined to keep the area a safe place to live and work.
