Our officers from the Alvaston and Boulton Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNT) are inviting residents from the Derby suburbs to join them for a ‘Street-Meet’ at the local Co-op store.

The teams are holding two events across the patch over the next few days, at local Co-op stores, to give residents the opportunity to meet officers and raise any policing issues they have.

Sergeant Chris Thornhill, who is in charge of the teams, explained: “The officers from the teams are out and about in the communities at all hours of the day on patrol and of course meet and speak to members of the public.

“What we do realise however, is that not everyone will see them and so these events give residents the opportunity to come and meet the team at a set time and place.

The Co-op stores are ideal to hold such activities as they are located at the heart of the community.”

The teams will be at the following locations:

Alvaston SNT will be at Co-op store, Crayford Road, Derby, between 2pm and 4pm, tomorrow, Friday, April 13

Boulton SNT will be at Co-op store, Holbrook Road, Derby, between 6pm and 8pm next Friday, April 20.

For more information contact the teams on 101 or send them a message online by visiting the Contact Us section of our website HERE.
