Derby man receives seven month sentence for shoplifting and theft from motor vehicle

A man has been sentenced to seven months in prison for several offences in Derby.

Scott Taylor (32) from Chalkley Close, Alvaston was arrested on Monday, May 19 and subsequently charged with seven offences of shoplifting and theft from a motor vehicle, all of which took place in Alvaston.

Taylor appeared at appeared at South Derbyshire Magistrates Court on Tuesday, May 20 and was sentenced to 30 weeks in prison.
