Residents invited to crime prevention event in Derby East neighbourhoods

Posted on 29th July 2014

Police in Derby are encouraging residents to be safe and secure at a crime prevention event taking place at two local stores.

Officers from the Derby East Safer Neighbourhood Policing Teams will be joined by the local Neighbourhood Watch and will offer safety advice and discounted security items such as Smart water and shed alarms.

Bike marking will also be available for residents using the Bike Register Kit at a cost of £4 per bike.

It is also a chance for people to chat to police about any local concerns or issues they might have.

The event is set to take place on Tuesday, August 5.

From 10am to 1pm the team will be located at the Dunelm store on Ascot Drive

Between 2pm and 5pm they will be based at Sainsbury’s on Osmaston Road
