Our officers from the Safer Neighbourhood teams in Alvaston and Allenton have teamed up with their local Co-op stores, to offer residents a series of crime prevention events.

Officers will be at the local Co-op stores and will be available to speak to residents about local policing issues and offer a range of crime prevention advice.

Sergeant Graham Young, who is in charge of the teams, said: “The local Co-ops give us the perfect locations, in the centre of the communities, to meet people and have a chat about policing in the area.

“Officers will be available to listen to concerns and offer crime prevention advice.”

The events are being held:

  • Friday, June 8, Between 5pm and 7pm - Co-op store, Allenton Shops, Osmaston Road, Allenton, Derby
  • Saturday, June 9, Between 10am and 12 midday – Co-op store, Bembridge Drive, Alvaston, Derby
