Is your shed an easy target

Our officers from the Sinfin and Osmaston Safer Neighbourhood Team are inviting residents to a spring crime prevention event.

The event is being held tomorrow, Friday, March 17 at the B and Q Store, Osmaston Park Road, Derby.

Sergeant Graham Young, who is in charge of the team, said: “At this time of year we know people start to look at completing DIY and getting in to the garden to do their spring jobs. We also know that thieves target gardening and power tools at this time of the year.

“The team will be on hand to offer crime prevention advice and equipment to help prevent this type of crime.”

Officers will be in the store between 10am and 12 midday.

A leaflet is attached above with some tips to help keep your tools safe.
