Officers from the Darley Safer Neighbourhood Team are asking residents in the area to join them for a cuppa to discuss policing in the area.

The team that covers the Darley Abbey, Chester Green, West End, Five Lamps, Strutts Park and Kedleston Road areas of the city are joining a series of coffee mornings in the area and are inviting residents to come and discuss any policing issues they may have.

PCSO Linda Ball, a member of the team, said: “We manage to speak to a lot of people when we are out and about but thought it would be useful to let residents know that we will be in certain places at certain times. This way they can come and speak to us about any policing issues they may be concerned about in an informal setting over a cup of tea or coffee.”
