Our officers from the Allestree Safer Neighbourhood Team are inviting residents to a ‘Street Meet’ in the Derby suburb.

The event is being held nex week at Cartridge Cellars at the Blenheim Drive shops between 10am and 12 midday on Monday, August 21.

Officers will be available to meet residents and shop keepers to discuss any policing issues or concerns they may have.

PCSO Ibrar Raffique from the team, said: " We like to be as visible as possible whilst we are on duty and see as many people as possible.

"What we realise though is that we are not going to see and be seen by everyone so these street meets give a specific date, time and location that we will be available for anyone to come and have a chat with us and raise any concerns they may have”.

For further information contact the team on 101. Alternatively send them a message online by visiting the Contact Us section of our website here.
