Appeal for information following theft of distinctive high value bike in Derby

Officers investigating a burglary in Derby are appealing for information in connection with the theft of a high value bike.GIANT-racer-bike-Allestree-theft

Sometime between 12.00pm and 12.22pm today (Monday, March 2) entry was gained to a secured shed in Ness Walk in Allestree.

Offenders forced a padlock on the shed and stole a black and white road bike, it is a Giant model and has a red seat and handle grips.                      

Officers would like to speak to the driver of a red transit van seen in the area at that time or anyone who has information about the theft or been offered a bike matching the description that they believe could be stolen.
