Chaddesden police offer the chance of a 'Cuppa with a Copper'

Officers from the Chaddesden Safer Neighbourhood Team are inviting residents to join them for a cuppa to discuss policing issues.

The team is holding a ‘street-meet’ at the Chaplin's Cafe at Chaddesden shops, Nottingham Road on Saturday, October 29 and is inviting local residents to come and discuss any issues that they feel are affecting their community.

PC Mark Atterbury from the team explained: “This is something we have done before and has proved popular. People who live or work in the area can come and have an informal chat with us about any policing issue that they may be worried about.”

The team will at Chaplin’s between 11am and 1pm.
