Mark Sanders in Chaddesden

We have a new police officer on the beat in Chaddesden, Derby.

PC Mark Sanders joined the Chaddesden Safer Neighbourhood Team at Roe Farm this week.

Mark, 31 years, has been a police officer for 7 years, working on the reactive team out of St Mary’s Wharf police station in the city.

Mark said: “I am really pleased to be joining the Safer Neighbourhood team.

“I am looking forward to speaking to people in the community. I have loved being a police officer but as a reactive officer your interaction with people tends to be in negative situations so I am now looking forward to helping people prevent issues before they happen.”

“I like being out on patrol on foot and am sure this role will give me lots of opportunity to be out and about in the area.”
