Our officers in the Chaddesden Safer Neighbourhood Team are offering residents two opportunities to come and have a ‘cuppa with a copper’

The events are being held to give people in the Derby suburb the chance to come and have an informal chat with the team to express any concerns they may have about crime and disorder in the area.

PC Mark Atterbury from the team explains: “The team are always out and about in the area and try to speak to as many people as possible. These events allow us to be in a set place at a set time and so if anyone has any specific concerns they can come and have a chat. We will even get a cuppa in for anyone coming to have a chat with us.”

The team will be at Chaplins Cafe, Nottingham Road on Friday, September 8, between 12 midday and 2pm and the cafe on Chaddesden Park the following day, Saturday, September 9, between 1pm and 3pm.
