We have arrested a Chaddesden man and woman for a series of break-ins at shops and takeaways.
Last month (December 2016) there was a series of break-ins across Chaddesden, Spondon and Oakwood where shops, takeaways and even charity shops were broken in to overnight with various property being stolen.
Last week on Tuesday, January 10 our officers from the Chaddesden Safer Neighbourhood Team arrested a 27 year-old woman and a 29 year-old man in connection with these offences. They have been interviewed and are now on police bail pending further enquiries.
The two are now subject of a curfew that means they are not to go out between 7pm and 7am until they return to the police station for further questioning.
In the meantime, PC Kelly Oliver, the officer investigating the crimes, would like to hear from anyone who has any information about the break-ins.
