Police in Chaddesden ask for help in tracing owner of found Jewellery

Posted on 30th May 2017

Our officers from the Chaddesden Safer Neighbourhood Team are asking for help in tracing the owner of Jewellery and pair of binoculars found in a local brook.

The property was found by a member of public in the Lees Brook, which runs through Chaddesden Park, Derby on Friday, May 19 and handed to the team to try and trace the owner.

PCSO Kelsey Mumford, from the team, said: “The member of the public very kindly retrieved the items from the brook and brought them to us in the hope that the items could be re-united to their rightful owner.

“We have spent some time to see if they had been reported as stolen, but at this stage that does not seem to have been the case and so we are now hoping someone will recognise the items and come and claim them.”

If anybody recognises the items you can contact Kelsey on 101, quoting the property reference P1700097722 or send her a message online by visiting the Contact Us section of our website here.
