Our Officers from the Spondon Safer Neighbourhood Team are inviting residents to join them for a free cuppa to discuss policing issues.
The team is holding a ‘street-meet’ at the Green Olive Cafe, Sitwell Street in the village on Wednesday, January 11 and is inviting local residents to come and discuss any policing issues that they feel are affecting their community.
PCSO James Bennett from the team explained: “We have held these events before around the patch and they have proved popular. It gives people in the area the opportunity to come and have a chat with us in a more informal setting and helps us to understand better the issues people are having so that we can then hopefully do something to help.”
The team will be in the Cafe between 1.30pm and 3pm.
For more information contact the team on 101 or send them a message online by visiting the Contact Us section of our website here.
