Our Chaddesden and Spondon Safer Neighbourhood Team has a new police officer in its ranks.

PC Dave Haighton, an officer with 15-years’ experience, joins the team today, Monday, November 5.

Dave, pictured here outside the Roe Farm police office in Chaddesden, said: “I am really excited about my new role as a Safer Neighbourhood officer in Chaddesden and Spondon.

“The team has been short of officers for a while and I am pleased to be joining a hard working team who are dedicated to making the area a safer place to live.

“I am most looking forward to getting to know the residents and getting to the root of some of the issues. As a response officer you sometimes only see the result of these issues, deal with them and move on, however in this role it’s about working with the community and our partners to solve problems.”

If you would like to speak to Dave or the team you can do so using one of the following non-emergency contact methods.
