Police appeal after car is damaged in Chaddesden street

Police are appealing for witnesses after a car parked on a road in Chaddesden was damaged.

The vehicle was parked in Canterbury Street when it was targeted between 7pm and 7.50pm on Tuesday, May 6.

A group of youths were seen to be walking along the street and as they passed the parked vehicle they smashed the offside wing mirror.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who might have witnessed the offence or know the identity of the persons who caused the damage to come forward.

Anyone with information should call Derbyshire police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, which is totally anonymous, on 0800 555 111.
