City centre police hold surgery in community hospital.

Officers from the Derby City Centre Safer Neighbourhood Team are making themselves available to residents and businesses in the city centre at a community event being held at the London Road Community Hospital this week.

The surgery is being held at the hospital between 10am and 2pm on Wednesday, June 8 and is an opportunity for any residents or businesses in the area to come and have a chat with the team if they have any concerns regarding policing.

Sergeant Brian Clifton, who is in charge of the team, said: “We are very much aware that residential property in the city centre, particularly near to the hospital in the Castle Ward area, is increasing. The team patrol these areas on a regular basis but we felt it would be an idea to set some time aside for anyone with any particular issues to come and see us.”

No appointment is necessary. For more information on the surgery or the work of the team contact Derby City Centre Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101, send them a message online by visiting the Contact Us section of our website here or you can also follow the team on Twitter @DerbyCitySNT
