CCTV footage released after late night assault in Derby city centre

Posted on 28th February 2018

One of our officers has released CCTV footage of a group of people he would like to speak to after a late night assault in Derby city centre.

Although the incident happened back in October last year the footage has only just been made available to the officer.

At around 3am in the early hours of Saturday, October 29 a 24-year-old man from Swadlincote was allegedly assaulted on Albert Street, Derby as a result of which he suffered a fractured jaw and bruising to the eye.

The incident is being investigated by PC Matthew Titterton and he would like to speak to the group of people seen in the footage walking towards the camera. The man in the light suit standing at the bus stop is not involved.
