Appeal for information following theft of distinctive bike in Derby

Police are appealing for information after a distinctive bike was stolen from outside an address in Derby.  

Sometime between 7.00pm and 9.30pm on Wednesday, November 27 a ‘Saracen Pylon’ bike was stolen from an address on Wellington Crescent near to Midland Place.  The bike was chained to the railings on the path to the house and the lock had been smashed.

The owner of the bike states that it is quite distinctive by sight, it is matt black and the handle bars have an extender on them to change the angle, these are gloss black with a white logo. It also has front brake discs and 2” slick tyres.


Officers would like to speak to anyone who has information about the theft or has been offered a bike matching the description that they believe could be stolen.
