CCTV image released after bag and phone stolen in Derby

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a theft from a public house on Sadlergate, CCTV-CR-49148-14Derby.

Sometime between 6.10am and 6.30am on Thursday, November 20 a man entered the rear door of the Blacksmith’s Lounge on Sadlergate and stole a handbag and mobile phone belonging to a woman working in the premises.

The woman had left the items on a table on the ground floor and was on the second floor of the premises when the items were stolen.

It would appear from CCTV footage that the man was using a bike and is wearing a hooded coat with the hood worn up, dark trousers, trainers and gloves.

Anyone that recognises the man in the CCTV image is asked to contact PCSO James Tomlinson of the City Centre Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team using the non-emergency number 101 and quoting CR 49148/14.
