The new member of our Oakwood Safer Neighbourhood Team is inviting residents to join him for a cuppa at an event in the Derby suburb.

PCSO Dan Waites joined the team just before Christmas and is holding the event to try and meet as many people as possible.

He will be at the Kava Coffee Bar, Smalley Drive, tomorrow, Tuesday January 8 at 12 midday until 2pm.

Dan said: "I have already been out and about in Oakwood but thought it would be useful be to at a set place at a set time to give people the opportunity to come and meet me.

"Oakwood is a safe place to live and the team are determined to keep it that way, so this is an opportunity for anyone to come and have a chat with us about any worries people may have."

If you are not able to make the event but will still like to speak to the team you can contact them using one of the following non-emergency contact methods.
