Two Derby men charged with possessing drugs to deal

Posted on 15th August 2017

Yesterday our officers carried out a drug search at a house on Edensor Square, Derby and recovered a quantity of what is believed to be synthetic cannabinoids that are often referred to as black mamba.

Two men have now been charged with possessing a class B drug with intent to supply, after paraphernalia associated with drug dealing and around £1000 in cash was also seized during the search.

Chris Smith, 37 years of age of Edensor Square and Clint Czernozukow, also 37 years, from Green Lane, Derby will both appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Wednesday, August 16.

Superintendent Tracy Harrison, who is in charge of operational policing in Derby, said: “This action was taken as a result of intelligence received from the community and comes as part of our fight against anti-social behaviour in the city centre.
