Officers from Derbyshire police's Safer Neighbourhood teams will be in the reception area of Royal Derby Children's Hospital.
There will be a host of activities including school choirs and an appearance from Sandy the police dog.
Alison Adams is a police sergeant working in the Community Safety and Vulnerability Unit at St Mary’s Wharf Police Station,
Derby, she explained: " This is the third such event we have held at the hospital. We have found them to be succesful and a great way to engage with vistors and staff alike. Officers are able to five vital crime prevention and safety messages as well as having a bit of fun of course."
