Our officers in the Littleover Safer Neighbourhood Team are looking for the owner of a collection of found silverware.

The items (pictured) were found in a pile by a member of the public on Brookdale Drive, Heatherton Village, Littleover on the morning of Friday, March 24.

PC Stevie Dee-Carter, from the team, explains: “The items were found by a member of the public and handed to us. Since then we have checked our records and asked our colleagues across the force but the items do not appear to have been reported to us as lost or stolen.

“It seems that the items would be too valuable to have been dumped and so we are appealing for anyone who recognises the items to come and let us know who they belong to so we can return them.”

If you think you can help, please call Stevie on 101 quoting reference number 17000124616.
