Mickleover Cuppa with a Copper

Our officers in the Mickleover Safer Neighbourhood Team are offering residents of the Derby suburb another chance to have a ‘Cuppa with a Copper’.

This opportunity, part of a series of events being held across the village, is tomorrow, Wednesday, May 8 at the Community Centre Tea Rooms on Uttoxeter Road.

PCSO Tracey Bell, seen here pictured at a previous event, explains: “The idea is to offer the residents the opportunity to come and have a chat with us about any concerns they may have an in a more informal setting.

“Mickleover is a safe and pleasant place to live where the community spirit is very high. We are committed to keeping it that way and so this is a chance, that if there are any concerns or worries, people can come and let us know so we can start to do something about it.”

The team will be at the Tea Rooms between 10am and 12 midday.
