Tomorrow (Wednesday, September 26), sees the next opportunity for Mickleover residents to meet their local policing team.

The Safer Neighbourhood team are holding the latest ‘Cuppa with a Copper’ event at the Community Centre, Uttoxeter Road.

It provides opportunity for anyone living, working or visiting the village to discuss any issues of concern they may have or to perhaps pick up some crime prevention advice.

PCSO Tracy Bell, from the team, said: “Mickleover is a very safe and pleasant place to live and work, however that does not mean it is without it’s issues.

“This is an opportunity for people to come and have a chat with us in an informal setting and discuss any worries they may have.”

The team will be in the cafe at the community centre between 11am and 1pm.

If you can’t make it and would like to speak to the team, contact them using one of the following non-emergency contact methods.
