Police appeal for information following theft of exotic birds in Derby

Police are appealing for information after two pairs of exotic birds were stolen in Derby.

Offenders gained entry to a shed in the rear garden of a property on Portland Street and stole two pairs of birds as well a power tool and garden equipment.

The first pair of exotic birds are described as Black-capped Conures and the second pair are Red-rumped Parrots.  The second pair are described as having a green head, grey tail and a red marking down the back.

It is believed the birds and the tools were stolen sometime overnight between Friday, September 19, 12.00am and Saturday, September 20 9.30am.
