Officers from the Normanton Safer Neighbourhood Team are taking to the streets of their patch in Derby to meet the local residents.
The team are holding two street meets in the area on Saturday, June 18 and are inviting local residents to come and have a chat with them to discuss any issues that are affecting their community.
PC Karen Stubbins from the team explained: “ We are always in the area on foot or on our bikes and of course try to see as many people as possible, however we thought it would be an idea on this occasion to let people know that we will be in certain places at a certain time of the day. This way if there is anything that people would like to discuss with us they can come out and meet us.”
The team will be on Church St, Normanton, Derby between 12 midday and 1.30pm. They will then be moving on to Shaftsbury Crescent near to the entrance of Shaftsbury Park between 3pm and 4.30pm
