Our officers from the Ilkeston Safer Neighbourhood Team are inviting residents to join them for a ‘cuppa with a copper’.

The team is holding the event at Costa Coffee in the Albion Centre, Bath Street on Friday, November 2.

Local residents are encouraged to come and discuss any policing issues that they feel are affecting their community.

PCSO Matt Lewis, from the team, explained: “This is a great opportunity for people to come along and have a chat with us in an informal setting about any policing issues in their area.

It helps us to understand their concerns so that we can then do something to help.”

PCSO Lewis and PCSO Victoria Beardall will be at the cafe between 10.30 and 11.30am.

If you are unable to make the event but would still like to discuss an issue with the team contact them on 101 or send them a message online by visiting the Contact Us section of our website.
