Police appeal after purse is stolen from Ilkeston home

Police are appealing for witnesses after thieves broke into an Ilkeston home.

In the early hours of Thursday, June 11, offenders removed the ground floor window of a property on Ash Street in Ilkeston. Once inside, they carried out a search and made off with a red ladies purse containing bank cards.

The incident is believed to have taken place sometime between 2.30am and 5.15am.

Anyone with any information about the incident should contact DC Lesley Smith on 101, quoting crime number 2446/15.
