Rebecca Newbold in Ilkeston

Our Safer Neighbourhood teams in Ilkeston have a new officer on the beat.

Rebecca Newbold is a brand-new Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) and has joined the teams in Ilkeston town centre and Larklands.

PCSO Newbold started with the teams last month having finished her initial training at HQ in Ripley. She is no stranger in dealing with community issues as she joins us from Nottingham City Council where she worked as a Community Protection Officer.

Rebecca is really pleased to have been appointed and said: “I feel really lucky to have been placed with such a great team and am looking forward to getting to know the community.

“I have experience of dealing with anti-social behaviour issues in my last job and hopefully I will be able to use this knowledge to start getting stuck in to my new job in Ilkeston.”

If you would like to speak to Rebecca or the team about any policing issues in Ilkeston you can contact them on 101 or alternatively send them a message online by visiting the Contact Us section of our website HERE.
