Our officers from the Larklands and Gallows Safer Neighbourhood Team in Ilkeston are offering residents the opportunity to have their tools and valuables marked for free.

The drop-in event is being held at the Tesco Extra store on Rutland Street, Ilkeston between 12 midday and 2pm on Thursday, January 5.

PCSO Jo Price from the team said  “Property marking is important, as it acts as a visible deterrent to would-be thieves. It also makes it easier for found stolen property to be returned to its rightful owner and helps to secure a successful prosecution against thieves.”
