Residents living in Long Eaton Rural are invited to have their say

Posted on 25th June 2015

Residents living in the Long Eaton Rural Safer Neighbourhood area are being invited to help set the policing priorities at an upcoming meeting.

PCSO Karen Pykett from the area's Safer Neighbourhood team is set to host the next community panel meeting from 7.30pm on Tuesday, July 14.

The meeting, which will take place at the Draycott Parish Council Rooms on Elvaston Street, Draycott, is a chance for local residents to raise concerns about crime in their area with the team.

Police will then set neighbourhood priorities to focus on for the following three months, based on feedback from the public.

The current priority sees the Safer Neighbourhood team putting the brakes on speeding motorists in the Stanton by Dale Village.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to put forward any issues contact PCSO Karen Pykett on 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
