Speeding vehicles become the new policing priority for Stanton by Dale residents

Posted on 12th January 2015

Officers will be clamping down on speeding vehicles in the Stanton by Dale area after setting the issue as the new policing priority.

The priority was set by local residents after concerns were raised at the latest Safer Neighbourhood Panel meeting held on Thursday, January 8.

Officers will be monitoring the speed of vehicles within the Safer Neighbourhood area and the team will be looking to carry out speed checks in the problem areas at key times.

Warnings or fines will be issued to motorists who are found to be breaking the limit.

To speak to your local Safer Neighbourhood team call 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
