Draycott residents invited to be part of Neighbourhood Watch Scheme

Posted on 31st January 2017

Our officers are inviting residents of Draycott to become part of a Neighbourhood Watch scheme.

Long Eaton Rural Safer Neighbourhood Team is holding a meeting to discuss starting a scheme for the village and want Draycott residents to attend to find out more about how it can help their community.

PCSO Karen Pykett from the team said: “Neighbourhood Watch is a great example of how the police and the community can work together to prevent crime and anti-social behaviour.

“We have had some interest from residents and so we’re holding this meeting to give people the opportunity to learn more about the scheme and to see if they would be interested in joining.”

The team will be at the Draycott parish council rooms, in Elvaston Street, from 6.30pm on Friday, February 3.

For more information contact the team on 101 or send them a message online by visiting the Contact Us section of our website here.
