Our officers from the Long Eaton Town Safer Neighbourhood Team are inviting residents to join them for a cuppa to discuss policing issues.

The team is holding a ‘street-meet’ on Thursday, June 15, at Mrs B’s Cafe on the High Street in the town and is inviting local residents and local business owners to come and discuss any policing issues that they feel are affecting their community.

PCSO Heidi Andrew from the team explained: “We are often out an about in the town centre and try and see as many people as possible. This event though gives us the opportunity to be in a set place at a set time to allow people to come and have a chat with us in a more informal setting.

"We are more than happy to discuss any concerns people may have about policing issues in the area, to give any crime prevention advice or just to have a general chat, we will even get the tea or coffee in."

The team will be at Mrs B’s between 2pm and 3.30pm.

For more information contact the team on 101 or send them a message online by visiting the Contact Us section of our website here.
