Walton Quad Bike Theft2

Our officers from the Safer Neighbourhood team in South Derbyshire have issued an image of people they would like to speak to about the theft of a quad bike.

The incident happened at around 2am on Monday, July 10 when the offenders cut the chain securing a quad bike at a farm on Catton Road, Walton on Trent.

The image shows the thieves apparently pushing the bike out of the farmyard.

PCSO Dave McMillan from the team, said: “I realise that the image does not give a clear view of those involved, however one of them appears to be wearing a dark coloured top with a fluorescent patch on the right shoulder.”

The stolen quad bike was a Red Honda TRX 500FE and the team would also like to hear from anyone who may have been offered this type of machine for sale.

If you have any information about the theft please call Dave on 101 quoting incident number 17000291973. Alternatively send him a message online by visiting the Contact Us section of our website here.
