Posted on 11th May 2017

Our officers from the Melbourne Safer Neighbourhood Team have issued images of bikes that were stolen in a Stanton by Bridge burglary.

The incident happened, last week between 1am and 6.30am on Friday, May 5 when a garage of a house on Ingelby Road in the village was broken in to. Amongst items stolen were two pedal cycles and a motor bike and our officers have released images of these bikes.

PC Paul Russell, from the team, said: “The pedal cycles in particular are quite rare and so I would ask that if anyone has been offered such items for sale over the last week that they make contact with me.

“Also if anyone saw anything suspicious between these times and in that location we would also like to hear from you.”

If you think you can help, please call Paul 101 quoting reference number 17000186139.
