Police appeal for information after theft of thousands of pounds worth of bikes from Stenson Fields

Police are appealing for witnesses after thousands of pounds worth of bikes were stolen from a garage in Derby. 

Sometime between 2pm on Friday, November 4 and 10am on Tuesday, November 8 the bikes was taken from a garage of a house in Zetland Crescent, Stenson Fields. 

The six bikes are all specialist road bikes owned by the householder who is a keen cyclist. 

PCSO Kerry Wallington-Waite, from the Mercia Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “The bikes are of high-value as the owner is a keen cyclist it may be that whoever stole them has tried to sell them on quickly. 

“I would ask if anyone saw anything suspicious between the relevant times, or anyone who might have been offered a similar bike for sale since the burglary, to contact us.” 

The bikes pictured are all very similar to those stolen which are: 

  • White Beone Diablo Sport Racing Bike
  • Grey Felt QX90D Hybrid Bike
  • White Specialised Rockhopper Hard Tail Mountain Bike which has red walled tyres
  • Black Specialised Dolce Evo Comp Racing Bike
  • Black Trek Fuel EX8 Mountain Bike
  • Purple and Black Specialised Ariel Bike.
