Mercia Cuppa with a Copper

Our Mercia Safer Neighbourhood Team are inviting residents of Willington, Stenson and Ticknall to join them for a ‘Cuppa with a Copper' at three events over the next week.

The events are being held to give people living, working or visiting the villages to come and have a chat with the team about any policing issues they may have.

PCSO Harriett Dunn, from the team, explains: “We like to get out and about and talk to as many people as possible, however this gives us an opportunity to be in a set place at a set time.

“We would welcome anyone to come and have a chat with us. We are holding the events in a more informal setting to hopefully encourage as many as possible to come.

“We are happy to talk about any policing issues you may be having or will be available to give crime prevention advice.”

The three events are being held at:

11am – 1pm, Tuesday, October 2 at Willow Tree Tea Room, Mercia Marina, Willington

11am -1pm, Thursday, October 4 at Stenson Lock Coffee Shop, Derby Road, Stenson

12 midday – 2pm, Tuesday, October 9, Scoff and Shop, Main Street Ticknall.

For more information or to talk to the team if you are unable to attend any of the events, contact them using one of the following non-emergency contact methods.
