Our Mercia Safer Neighbourhood Team are inviting the residents of Stenson to a crime prevention drop-in session.

The event is being held this Saturday, September 29, at Stenson Fields School after three recent house burglaries in the area.

The team will be on hand to give crime prevention advice to help prevent further offences.

PC Harriet Dunn (pictured), from the team said: “Although the number of burglaries in the area have been relatively low we want to make sure we are giving residents as much help and advice as possible to prevent further incidents.

“During the session we will speak about crime prevention in the home, and also referring elderly and vulnerable residents to the safer homes initiative run by South Derbyshire District Council.”

The team will be at the school between 10.30 and 11.30am.

For more information or for advise if you are not able to attend contact the team using one of the following non-emergency contact methods.
