Jewellery, believed to have been stolen, has been put on display in a bid to reunite the property with its owners.
Police have issued photographs of several items they believe to have been stolen and officers are hoping the rightful owners will recognise the items and contact them.
The jewellery was seized during the search of a car in Cotmanhay last month where a 31-year-old man was arrested.
The items include several gold and silver coloured necklaces, one has a purple stone surrounded by pearls, one a black glass pendant and another holds an LGU cream pendant. Also recovered were two gold coloured watches, amongst earrings and cufflinks.
PC Adam Price said: “I’m sure some of these items have sentimental value so I would appeal to anyone who recognises them to get in contact with us.”
Derbyshire police are appealing for anyone who has lost or had stolen any items matching the description to contact them on the non-emergency number 101.
