Police appeal for witnesses following an incident involving a car and a horse

Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident involving a horse rider and a car.

Between 11.30am and 11.39am on Sunday, February 19 a man on a chestnut coloured horse was riding along the one way part of Burnthouse Road in Heanor when it was involved in an incident with a car. This resulted in damage being caused to the car.

The car was a Black Peugeot with a roof box. The man riding the horse was wearing black body protection with a white and grey t-shirt underneath.
