Every month the Chief Constable and the Police and Crime Commissioner meet to discuss the most important issues facing Derbyshire Constabulary.

During these Strategic Governance Board meetings | , Commissioner Charles and Chief Constable Mick Creedon will be open to questions from the public who attend in person and will also take and answer queries virtually via Twitter, online or by e-mail through AskSGB | .

The meetings take place at 2pm on select days each month in the Reception Room at Force Headquarters. Anybody is welcome to attend these meetings in person and no pre-booking is necessary.

AskSGB is your way of asking questions online directly to the monthly Strategic Governance Board meetings.

Every month, the first 30 minutes of the meeting are set aside for any public questions from those in attendance or any that have been sent in electronically.

Twitter and Online Chat

If you have a question to ask, you can send your question through Twitter to the @DerbysPCC | or @DerbysPolice | accounts, using #askSGB in the question. You can also use the chat facility below to send your question in the run-up to the meeting and during the public session. Please send in questions during the meeting by no later than 2.15pm to allow time for a response.

E-mail Your Question

You can also send your question in by e-mail, by submitting to the Chief Executive ( | ) by 5pm on the Friday preceding an SGB meeting.

Although specific cases are not able to be discussed in the meeting, they are followed up by senior representatives from the force.
